Planned Giving
Other than writing a check, gifts can be made in many ways, and we encourage you to talk with your financial professional to determine the best option for you. Pledges up to five years are welcome and encouraged. A few options for planned giving include:
Stock Transfer - Using the stock transfer form, transfer stock directly to the Foundation and receive an income tax deduction and avoidance of capital gains tax.
Life Insurance Gift - Give a policy with the Foundation as owner and beneficiary, and receive current income tax deduction and/or possible future deductions
Retirement Plan Gift - Transfer up to $100,000 directly from your IRA to the Foundation if you are age 70 ½+. The gift does not count as income, therefore you avoid paying income tax on transferred funds.
Estate Giving - Using a simple codicil to your will, leave a portion of your estate to the Foundation.
