Endowment

Endowment funds are different from annual giving to the Foundation.  Year-to-year giving is usually dispersed within the year the gift is made. The Endowment funds remain in trust with the Foundation to grow and provide income for the future. Endowment funding provides the financial strength to act with confidence for the long-term goals of the “excellence in education” mission of the Foundation.
Endowment funds are held for the long-term investment returns to fund future grants for the generations to follow.  The Endowment principal funds are not used for grants - only the income generated each year can be used.  The Foundation’s long term goal is to grow our endowment fund to support all grant applications in the future.

Endowment Recognition Opportunities

A gift of any amount is welcome to be designated to the endowment fund.  All endowment gifts are pooled within the Endowment Fund, but are recognized separately in publications.  There are recognition opportunities at several levels of giving.

$5,000 - A gift of $5,000 or more in the Endowment Fund may be designated a Named Endowment to honor someone you admire.

$25,000 - A gift of $25,000 will qualify the recipient to be named a Chair of the Foundation.  Foundation Chairs are recognized with a Paver at Tiger Court

$50,000 - A gift of $50,000 to the endowment fund allows the donor name to be associated with a classroom grant each fall.

Thank you to our 2018 Endowment Donors
