Celebrating 30 Years of Excellence!
The Demopolis City Schools Foundation held its annual donor celebration on Thursday, February 22nd at the Marengo County History and Archives Museum. This event wasn’t your typical annual event; it was to celebrate 30 years of excellence and to recognize donors for their continued support and contributions over the years. Foundation President, Peter Michael Reynolds stated, “Over the past 30 years, The DCSF board, and Directors, past and present have provided an incredible path to support Demopolis City Schools for years to come, all of that being said, it cannot do anything without the financial support of the generous donors over the past 30 years. Again, We cannot thank our donors enough for their continued support.”
The following individuals, businesses and organizations were recognized as “Long-time Contributors” to the Foundation. These individuals have donated $10,000 or more since 2012.
Foundation Executive Director, Margaret Anne Gilchrist stated, “It’s been a great year to celebrate the 30 years of The Foundation and the work we’ve been able to accomplish for all Demopolis classrooms. We could not continue our mission of fostering excellence without the continued support of our donors and the Demopolis community!”
